Where they show the toddler walking to the couch with it's toilet training seat? And they show the kids diaper around the ankles as it starts to climb up and then the voice over says something like "Need a washable slipcover?" Well last night Alex and I were watching premier TV and Gabby had been asleep for like 2/2.5 hours. So seeing her looking frightened in our doorway rather scared us. Baby what is it? I uh.....just wanted to say I love you. Takes off at a run to her room/bathroom. :( Gabby honey what is going on? I stick around so I can re-tuck her in when she finishes up and I happen to step near her red couch and feel something wet. So I look down and I swear it was like I had never seen the thing before. Wet? Look at ceiling knowing damned well it hasn't been raining. Wet? Looks for cup of water. Picks up bear by ear and stare in horror as it drips. Try not to laugh. Call Alex to help strip the couch of it's cover while I hand wash the bear and pillow. Gabby baby, how did you mistake the red couch for the toilet? mmmuhno. *light bulb* Baby, did it get all over your pants too? yeah. OK love lets get you cleaned up. Go put on some new undies and get in bed. Poor thing was so tired she was asleep before Alex finished fighting with the couch cover. While, yes, beyond disgusting you have to see the humor in this. What must she have been thinking that the BRIGHT RED couch at the foot of her bed that is close to the floor and has stuffed animals and pillows on it was the toilet. And why... why didn't she pull down her pants and undies? But on the bright side... it wasn't in her bed and this is her first accident in a long long time. The cover was immediately washed and was so thick that the foam that makes up the couch was still clean and dry. And how has your week been going?
