| New Project |
I have started a new knitting project and I'm super excited!!! I am knitting Gabby the Summer Swing Top. I figure if I start in in January she should be able to wear it in the summer!! Eeeek. This is going to be the first non scarf/shawl clothing item that I am going to attempt to make!!
I love love love the yarn that I'm using, Manda I can't thank you enough for giving it to me!! It's being knitted up using Knit Picks Shine in Orchid. It is sooooooooooooooo soft and pretty!!! Ok, so I swatched it (fist swatch ever!!) I'm using size 9 circular needles. And it came out just right :) Also this is my first knit in the round project.
I'll have to do progress pics on occasion and if Manda would be oh so kind to bring her camera occasionaly.

This is a first for me...blogging!!
I'm looking forward to seeing Gabby in her new summer dress - looks adorable. I'm still knitting slippers - I wear them until they don't have any bottoms left and am tired of mending them.
