See if you know me you have an idea where the name One Perfect Something came from, and if your name sounds like oh lets say Panda, then you know exactly where the name came from and are probably all "finely time this chick paid some respect!!". Or not, you know whatever.
See in my own little world I've deemed my self Queen Edgewater Junkie.
"What? Edgewater Junkie? What in the world is an Edgewater and does it taste good?" You may ask.
Well Edgewater is a band. Sorry let me fix that. The best damned band I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. And umm... well I have no idea if they "taste" good, but they look rather yummy. But that is just my opinion.
"Uh Huh, and what does that have to do with the name of the blog?"
Oh yeah, see I wanted a name that meant something to me, and well musically they mean the most to me. See I really wanted to name the blog after one of my favorite songs they had. But while Tres Quatros is my ALL time favorite Edgewater song didn't work for me as a blog name since, well I speak English and you have no idea how long it took me to realize the name of the song is Three Four... is it Three Four... yeah Three Four. And my second favorite is Quitter, but as a blog name it just sounded so negative. So I sat there going over the names of their songs off the South of Sideways CD cause well I had it in front of me. It hit me. Track 9 One Perfect Something, how perfect. I get to honor both Edgewater AND Gabby! How much happier could I be? So there it is. The story of my blog's name.
"Yeah, and you needed to tell us this why?"
Oh cause I'm going to the show on Friday!! *you can't see it but I just puffed up and started strutting like a peacock at the thought of seeing them* And I wanted to see where my blog was when I looked it up on Google and I ended up in first place.

5 Random Facts about Me
* My hair has not been 100% undyed since my freshman year in H.S. And that was oh.. 1995-ish
*I think odd things and am not to terribly afraid to explore them. For instance I wondered what language people who are not from America or English speaking countries think in when they have been here for a long time. So I asked a few. They said English. But they had to think about it first.
* I hate that I was born on the cusp of Taurus and hence for have Taurus tendencies. Cause damn it I'm an Aries!
* Easter and my 68th birthday will fall on the same day. April 18 2049
* I worry that I will never get married and that I'm just stuck in an on again off again kind of love thing and we are only there for the sake of Gabby.
